Membership Types

U3A Ringwood has three types of membership:

  • Full membership (this is the standard membership for most members)

  • Associate membership for current financial members of other U3As who wish to also attend U3A Ringwood classes

  • Honorary membership for tutors and others that have been approved by the Committee

You must be a member of U3A Ringwood to be able to enrol in a course or activity (except for the free Be Connected courses).

Membership Fees

Our membership fees are based on member type and are either:

  • on a full year basis if you join us in Terms 1 or 2

  • on a half year basis if you join us in Terms 3 and 4

If you join us in late November or December, we assume you are joining for next year’s classes as the current year’s classes are nearly over. Please contact us if you only wish to enrol in the remainder of the current year’s classes.

  • Pro Rata rates available after 30th June annually

Membership fees are subject to change. Your U3A Ringwood membership, as for all members, expires at end of December each year.  

Pro Rata fees only apply if you join us during the last half of the year and cover the period from when you pay your fees until the end of December of the year you join us.

You renew your membership by paying the appropriate membership fee for the new year (usually from early December).

You must remain a financial member of U3A Ringwood to attend our classes.
